Hotel Eden

Hotel Eden is a true three-star paradise of friendliness, kindness and comfort. I stayed in a single room with sea view, a little narrow, but with all the comforts. To achieve perfection, I recommend fixing the shower cone and adding a cabinet in the bathroom to place brushes or other objects. Another small flaw: the bidet is a little small and the shutters of the room are a little old and wooden (they should be renovated), but otherwise, the room is very clean and new and has an air conditioner. The difference is certainly made by the staff. From the reception to the restaurant service, everyone is very kind and available to satisfy your every request and provide useful information about the area. The half board service includes a fairly rich buffet breakfast, with homemade cakes (kept on stands and closed in glass), yogurt, cereals, muffins, sweet and savory croissants (stuffed), jams in glass, scrambled eggs, mozzarella , tomatoes, bacon; lunch or dinner allows you to choose between three first courses and three second courses, and a wide choice of buffet starters. The dishes were not always balanced in salt, but some were really very good, such as the vegetable puree, the fish fillets (different every evening), the pasta with grouper, lime and capers and the cakes, especially a pudding cake with lemon, nothing short of sublime. Last, but not least: convenience. You leave the hotel and you immediately find yourself in the bathing establishment of the same name, managed by Carlo and Fillippo, who do their utmost to keep the beach clean every day. In the evening, you can dine directly on the beach, enjoying a wonderful sunset and listening to the sound of the sea. Applause for the Mavit Bistrot for the innovative proposal of fish dishes, tasty and well presented, plentiful and at the right price. In short: if you want to spend at least a week in complete relaxation and comfort, this is the right place!

A hotel that would have great potential thanks to its seafront location on the Cadorna promenade, the private beach, the parking and the friendliness of the staff at reception but... We had a reservation for the long weekend of April 25th which, due to force majeure, was postponed to the long weekend of June 2nd. The superior sea view room was not available and we accepted the comfort hill view room on half board. I wouldn't say comfort, as it's rather small with a tiny bathroom without a bidet and without a window and a few hairs in the shower tray and on the towels. It was impossible to close the balcony shutter, which did not have a view of the hill but a view of the alleyway with people shouting to talk to each other, even showing off the profanity of a longshoreman. The half board accommodation was no better: the buffet breakfast was given little attention by the staff and therefore lacking in many things. And dinner was the worst part: poorly prepared cuisine with low quality ingredients and a notable difference between the dishes served to retired guests and external ones. It felt like being in a canteen and not a 3-star hotel. Really low quality/price ratio. The Eden hotel that I knew and where I had stayed for years is no longer there.

Very nice hotel right on the beach. Despite the renovation, it hasn't lost the flair of earlier times. We had a room with a balcony and sea view, it couldn't be better. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You just feel good. Large breakfast buffet with everything you could wish for, coffee is served at the table. Dinner starts with a vegetable and salad buffet, followed by a 3-course menu. Vegetarians are also in good hands here. The drinks are cheap (0.75l mineral water €2.50, the Bottle of wine from 15 €). We will definitely be back.
